Last rites of Martyred Army Jawan Pabbala Anil held at Telangana’s Malkapur village

Hyderabad: The last rites of Martyred Army Jawan Pabbala Anil was held with full military honors at his native village Malkapur in Rajanna Sircilla district of Telangana on Saturday.

Hyderabad: The last rites of Martyred Army Jawan Pabbala Anil was held with full military honors at his native village Malkapur in Rajanna Sircilla district of Telangana on Saturday.

The mortal remains of Cfn (AF) Pabbala Anil of the Army Aviation Squadron (UH) arrived at Air Force Station Hakimpet on Friday evening by a service aircraft.

The body of Anil was later sent to Malkapur by road.

He sacrified his life in the line of duty when an Army Aviation ALH Dhruv helicopter, while on an operational mission, crashed on the banks of the Marua in Kishtwar region of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

A wreath-laying ceremony was organised by the Indian Army to pay tributes to the valiant soldier and Major General Rakesh Manocha, General Officer Commanding Headquarters Telangana & Andhra Sub Area laid a wreath and paid homage to Anil.

Telngama Minister Gangula Kamalakar, BJP State President Bandi Sanjay Kumar, MP, former BRS MP B Vinod Kumar, Choppadandi MLA Ravi Shankar, and others paid their respects to the army jawan.

Military officials, district police and Revenue officials, as well as a large number of people also paid their last respects to the brave soldier.
