Lords College Institute Triumphs at Osmania University Inter College Judo Championship 2024

Hyderabad: The spirit of judo resonated at the Osmania University Inter College Judo Championship held at Lords Institute of Engineering Technology, Himayath Sagar, Hyderabad, on January 18th and 19th, 2024.
Organized with precision by Lords College Institute of Engineering & Technology, the championship witnessed fierce competition among various colleges.
In a remarkable display of skill and determination, the “Judo Over All Championship” was clinched by the formidable team from Lords College Institute of Engineering & Technology, accumulating an impressive 63 points. Their stellar performance included securing 7 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals, and 7 Bronze Medals, amounting to a total of 21 medals.
The prestigious Over All Championship Winners Trophy was presented to Lords College by Dr. K. Krishna, Secretary ICT Osmania University, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Krishna also took part in presenting trophies and medals to the victorious team during a vibrant medal ceremony program.
The event was further adorned by the presence of esteemed guests, including Mr. Yousufuddin, PD, MJCET, Mr. Mohammed Ali, PD ISL EC, Mahesh OU, Dr. Siddiq, and Mr. Anil Kumar PD, Anwar-Ul-Uloom College. Their participation added to the grandeur of the ceremony, reflecting the significance of the championship in the sporting community.
