Hyderabad: The Low-Pressure Area over coastal Odisha & neighbourhood and the associated cyclonic circulation extends upto 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height persists.

It said the monsoon trough now passes through Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Damoh, Pendra Road, Balangir, centre of Low Pressure Area over northwest Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast and thence
southeastwards to Eastcentral Bay of Bengal extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.
The east-west shear zone roughly along 20 °N between 3.1 km & 5.8 km above mean sea level
tilting southwards with height across North Peninsular India persists.
