Malla Reddy inaugurates new facility at ESI Nacharam

Speaking on the occasion, Malla Reddy said the ESI Nacharam is offering the best services to patients and efforts are being made to enhance more facilities in the hospital.

Hyderabad: Minister for Labour and Employment Chamakura Malla Reddy inaugurated the State’s first Walk-in Cold Room at ESI hospital, Nacharam, here on Saturday.

The Walk-in Cold Room is a storage room of critical, life-saving and temperature sensitive Bi-Technology products and medicine to ensure their efficacy. It is set up with the financial aid of Medihauxe Pharma at a cost of Rs 7.5 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, Malla Reddy said the ESI Nacharam is offering the best services to patients and efforts are being made to enhance more facilities in the hospital.

The Minister also thanked Medihauxe Pharma for extending their financial assistance and the new facility would help storing lifesaving cancer and kidney drugs.

“I have noticed the requirement of CT and MRI scanning equipments in the hospital. The department is also planning to set up an oxygen plant in the hospital. I hope these will become a reality soon,” Malla Reddy said.

Satyarayana, Superintendent of ESI said it is the first time ESI Hospital in Telangana having the Walk-in-Cold-Room and it can be useful for storing the life saving drugs between 2 and 8 degrees.

The superintendent also urged the corporates and philanthropic individuals to take part in the development of hospital and to extend their financial assistance for the purchase of much needed MRI and CT scan equipments.
