In a shocking incident resembling a scene from a movie, a bold cash theft occurred in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, leaving a clerk robbed of Rs. 10 lakhs. After reviewing CCTV footage, the police determined that this theft was a meticulously planned operation carried out by a gang of cunning thieves.
According to reports, Haribabu, a clerk employed at a pepper merchant in Bradipet, was instructed by his employer to withdraw a large sum of money. Complying with the request, Haribabu went to the Lakshmipuram HDFC Bank in Guntur to withdraw Rs. 10 lakhs. Little did he know that this incident would turn into a terrifying ordeal.
Upon completing the withdrawal, Haribabu carefully stowed the cash in a bag and prepared to ride back on his bike. Unbeknownst to him, a gang of thieves had meticulously planned this heist and were waiting for their opportunity. They arrived on bikes, fully prepared to execute their audacious plan.
As Haribabu placed the cash bag securely on his bike, one of the clever culprits approached him and intentionally dropped a Rs. 20 note, feigning an accident. Capitalizing on the distraction, Haribabu picked up the note, completely unaware that it was part of a calculated diversion. While his attention was focused on the dropped money, another thief swiftly approached from behind, snatching the cash bag within seconds and disappearing like a thrilling movie scene.
When Haribabu tried to start his bike again, he was shocked to discover that the cash bag was missing. He immediately realized that he had fallen victim to a meticulously planned heist executed with precision by the crafty thieves.
Haribabu promptly reported the incident to the Pattabhipuram police, providing them with details of the theft, which had been carried out according to a calculated plan. He revealed that the stolen bag contained Rs. 10 lakhs. The police initiated an investigation without delay, scrutinizing the bank and nearby CCTV cameras in search of crucial evidence.
The investigation uncovered footage of masked individuals surveilling the bank prior to the theft. Local police authorities identified a suspect named Chaka, who played a crucial role in swiftly escaping with the stolen cash bag, executing the plan with precision.
