Kushinagar: A man set ablaze his wife and two children at Kaptangunj area in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh.
According to police sources, the woman succumbed to burns, while the children sustained serious burn injuries.
Ramsamujh, a resident of Fard Mundera village is a daily wager and lived in a single room house with his wife and children.
Three days ago he had a dispute with his wife over some issue. He assualted his wife and children and left. On Thursday he poured petrol on his wife Subhawati, 10-year-old daughter Muskan and 4-year-old Karan and set them on fire. UNI reported.
Hearing the cries, neighbours rushed to the spot and put of the fire. Wife and children were rushed to the Gorakhpur medical college, where Subhawati died.
