Hyderabad: In a compassionate gesture, Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM), a prominent political party, has extended financial assistance to the family of a young Hyderabadi who tragically lost his life due to firing by an RPF constable on the Jaipur Mumbai Central Express train near Palghar railway station in Maharashtra. The family of the deceased youth received support from various quarters, including MIM, Railway authorities, and other political entities.

Speaker of Majlis and Member of Parliament Hyderabad, Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, personally presented cheques of one lakh rupees each to the three daughters of the late youth, in the presence of Mr. Jafar Hussain Meraj, an Assembly member, and the mother of the deceased youth.

During this solemn occasion, Hafiz Pasha shared that the victim’s family received 10 lakh rupees from the Railways, 6 lakh rupees from the BRS party, and an additional 3 lakh rupees from Majlis. Notably, the latter contribution was deposited as a fixed deposit for a period of ten years in the name of the teenage girls at Darussalaam Bank.

It is worth highlighting that at the behest of Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi, the Majlis Assembly leader, Minister of Municipal Administration Tarak Rama Rao announced his intent to provide an official job to Shaheen Anjum widow of the deceased within the municipal department or any suitable section. The promise of a job was made to provide financial stability to the family. Furthermore, the BRS party committed to offering 2 lakh rupees in the name of each girl, as well as providing a double-bedroom house.

The incident of the RPF constable’s firing drew attention from Majlis, as the floor leader highlighted the case of Syed Saifuddin, the unfortunate young man from Bazarghat, Hyderabad, who lost his life. In light of this tragedy, the party emphasized the importance of ensuring a secure future for Shaheen Anjum, a young widow who has passed intermediate, and her three daughters, with the youngest being just 6 months old. This move serves to send a powerful message against the proliferation of divisive politics and hatred in the region of Telangana.

The united efforts of various entities to support the grieving family underscore the importance of community and solidarity during trying times.
