In a surprising twist, Charan Chowdary, also known as Saran Kumar, a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Hyderabad, was reported missing on Monday. However, recent developments reveal that he has been apprehended by the Hyderabad Central Crime Station police.
The arrest is linked to an ongoing investigation in a case. Saran Kumar, aged 33 and residing in Ayyappa Society Madhapur, left his residence at around 12:45 pm on Monday. Following his departure, his family attempted to reach him but found that his mobile phone was turned off. After a joint search effort with relatives and friends, the family filed a missing person report at the Madhapur police station later in the day.
The Madhapur police initiated a search operation, classifying him as a missing individual. Subsequently, it was discovered that the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) team of the CCS had taken Saran Kumar into custody.
