The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a senior assistant of Nehru Zoological Park red-handed on Thursday when he demanded and accepted a bribe from the family of a retired employee.
Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a senior assistant of Nehru Zoological Park red-handed on Thursday when he demanded and accepted a bribe from the family of a retired employee.
The accused officer, Saraf Ramesh, collected Rs 5,000 from the complainant, Md. Azam Shareef, a resident of Saidabad, “to process the file of transferring the family pension from the complainant’s mother to his unmarried sister,” the ACB said in a release here.
The amount was recovered from the possessions of the accused officer.
The senior assistant at the Zoo Park is being arrested and produced before the Prl. Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, Court at Nampally, Hyderabad.
