A total of 209 students, primarily from the science group, gathered to voice their grievances against the alleged neglect of their welfare. The protest focused on Saifabad Girls Hostel, where students bemoaned the lack of adequate amenities and raised concerns about the quality of the provided food.

The students cited several issues, including cramped living spaces, with 40 individuals housed in rooms designed for 17.

They expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs, emphasizing the urgent need for improvement in hostel facilities and food quality.

Choosing a strategic time for their protest, the students occupied a prominent location near LB Stadium as the Assembly proceedings were ongoing.
