No Complaints on Camp Politics, Arrangements Ready for MLC Polls: CEO

Hyderabad: Chief Electoral Officer Shashank Goel today said that elaborate arrangements have been made for MLC polls with Corona protocols in the state on December 10. The poll body officials have conducted an inquiry on camp politics with regard to the MLC polls, he told media persons.
However, the CEO said that there were no complaints from family members of elected representatives on the camp politics.

The CEO said that the polls will be covered with webcasting and videography in the polling stations. The officials in the districts have completed the arrangements for the MLC polls.
He said that the voters should wear masks and sanitize their hands before casting their votes. The election commission took all measures for smooth conduct of the polls following corona protocols, he maintained.
He instructed the officials concerned to ensure smooth polls in the previous five districts. The officials made required arrangements in 37 polling stations as there are 5326 voters to exercise their franchise in the polls.
Goel conducted a fresh review with the collectors, SPs, and other officials and instructed them to ensure that corona protocols are followed in the polling stations. The results of the elections will be announced on December 14.
