PM leaves for Andhra

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday left for Andhra Pradesh by a special plane after participating in a two-day BJP National Executive Meeting here.
Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Minister T. Srinivas Yadav, BJP state president Bandi Sanjay were among those who saw him off at the Begumpet Airport.
Modi who arrived in Hyderabad on Saturday evening, participated in the two-day long Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive meeting held at the HICC and also addressed a public meeting ‘Vijaya Sankalp Rally’ held at Parade Grounds here on Sunday evening.
In Andhra Pradesh, Modi will participate in freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju’s 125th birth anniversary celebrations.
“Leaving for Bhimavaram to attend a very special programme — the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of the great freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju. Will also unveil a bronze statue of Alluri Sitarama Raju. This will enhance the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations,” Modi tweeted before his departure.
