Hyderabad: The city police wing has deployed 3000 police personnel for providing security to the venue of the public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi – parade grounds. The police have also enforced section 144 of CrPC to avoid any untoward incident during the public meeting.
Revealing about the security arrangements being made by them, speaking to media persons, City police commissioner CV Anand said that they were making all security arrangements to avoid any untoward incident during the stay of the PM in the city.
He said that they were utilising the services of 3000 police personnel in and around the parade grounds for the peaceful organisation of the public meeting. He said that parade grounds have the capacity to accommodate 1 lakh people. He said that the authorities of Secunderabad Cantonment board and GHMC had made parking arrangements for the parking of the vehicles.
He said that they had roped in the services of the Police officials from other districts for regulation of traffic in the city. He said that they had appointed officers of the ranks of DIG, SP and ASP as the sector incharges.
He said that Modi would stay overnight at Raj Bhavan on the night of July 3,2022 after attending the public meeting at the parade grounds.
