Rebellion started against Revanth Govt

Nalgonda: Former minister and BRS party MLA Jagadish Reddy today said there had been a rebellion among the people against the Congress government in the State.
Jagadish Reddy reviewed the arrangements for the ‘Chalo Nalgonda Sabha’ meeting scheduled to be held on Tuesday. Former CM KCR will be the chief guest at the public meeting.
Speaking to media persons later, Jagadish Reddy said the Congress party had entered into a flawed deal with the Centre. “That’s why Revanth handed over the Krishna projects to the Centre. The Congress is a fraud party. The Congress has a habit of lying in a full house,” he alleged.
He recalled that when KCR was the CM, he had driven out AP police when they came to occupy the Nagarjuna Sagar project. “Why are the Congress CM and ministers not going to the Sagar project now? Why are the Central forces there,” he asked.
He also claimed that the Congress had passed a resolution that it had not handed over the Nagarjuna Sagar and Srisailam dams to the KRMB only due to the BRS struggle over the rights of the State in Krishna waters. He claimed that the Congress leaders were shivering after observing the decision of KCR to participate in the public meeting in Nalgonda.
Jagadish Reddy said people from the combined Nalgonda, Khammam and Mahbubnagar districts and farmers would be attending the public meeting in large numbers. He said the farmers were moving across party lines.
He said it was a farmers’ roar meeting. “If the farmers clench their fists, no matter how big the party is, it will be destroyed. Farmers are unable to bear the loss of water in front of their eyes,” he said, adding that KCR would be coming to the meeting at 3 pm on Tuesday. (NSS)
