Scholarships will be given to 5000 students from 27 states by Reliance Foundation. These first year graduation students will be given around Rs 2 lakh during their studies.
The foundation announced in December 2022 that they will award 50,000 scholarships over the next 10 years. Along with the scholarship, the selected students will also be connected to the alumni network.
Jagannath Kumar, CEO of the foundation said, “We hope that the Reliance Foundation Scholarship will give new life to the dreams of the youth. The scholarship is selected from among students studying various subjects in different geographical regions of India.
Girls and boys will be given equal representation. We congratulate the selected students and are confident that they will fulfill their dreams and contribute to the development of the country.
Undergraduate Scholarships are awarded on the basis of student’s merit and economic status. The students selected for this year belong to fields like Engineering/Technology, Science, Medicine, Commerce, Arts, Business/Management, Computer, Law and Architecture.
