RTC MD Sajjanar reacts to Sun City road accident in which morning walkers were killed



Hyderabad: RTC MD VC Sajjanar expressed his response to the recent road accident near Bandlaguda Jagir in the suburbs of Hyderabad through a Twitter post. He described the incident as highly unfortunate, where a young man’s recklessness and excessive speed resulted in the tragic death of an innocent mother and daughter who were out for a morning walk.

Reports indicate that two others sustained injuries in the accident. Sajjanar emphasized the need for parents to exercise caution when providing vehicles to their children, stating that such accidents can occur if children are allowed on the roads with excessive freedom and love.

The victims of this incident were identified as Anuradha and Mamata, a mother and daughter who were hit by a car while taking a walk on Tuesday morning near Bandlaguda Jagir. The driver of the vehicle, Mohammad Badruddin Qadir (19) from Masabtank, had gone to a farmhouse in Moinabad to celebrate his birthday with friends. Unfortunately, upon reaching Suncity, the car lost control, leading to the accident and the immediate loss of lives, according to the police.
