Scrapping of GO 111: Revanth smells a rat


Hyderabad: Demanding a probe by the central investigation agencies into the reasons behind the scrapping of GO 111, Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy on Monday suspected a huge land scam involving big fish from the ruling party in it.

The TPCC chief noted that the last Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan built Osmansagar and Himayatsagar reservoirs to prevent flooding of Hyderabad city. Besides the two reservoirs catered to drinking water needs of the city through gravitation.

Revanth further urged Union minister G Kishan Reddy to write a letter to the investigation agencies seeking probe into the suspected land scam.

He said a fact-finding committee will be constituted by Telangana Congress to look into the lands owned allegedly by members of KCR family, BRS leaders, their relatives and friends. The  committee will submit a report to the party.

11 acres of prime land at Kokapet was allocated to the BRS for Revanth a training centre at a throwaway price, alleged Revanth Reddy.
