Senior Advocate Khaja Moizuddin Killed in Suspected Hit-and-Run Attack at Nampally, Probe Underway

A shocking suspected hit-and-run incident in Hyderabad’s Nampally area claimed the life of senior advocate Khaja Moizuddin, triggering outrage and concern across the legal community.

According to police, the incident occurred on Saturday morning when Khaja Moizuddin stepped out of his residence and was about to enter his car. At that moment, a speeding Scorpio SUV allegedly rammed into him with great force. The impact threw him several feet away, leaving him critically injured, while the occupants of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the incident.

A video related to the incident has also surfaced online, showing the SUV speeding towards the advocate before hitting him directly. The footage has gone viral on social media, intensifying suspicions and public reaction over the nature of the attack.

Soon after the incident, local residents and family members rushed Khaja Moizuddin to a nearby hospital. Despite doctors making every possible effort to save him, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Medical officials stated that he suffered severe head and multiple body injuries.

On receiving information, Nampally police reached the spot and launched an investigation. CCTV footage from nearby cameras has been collected, and efforts are underway to identify the Scorpio SUV involved in the incident. Police teams have also recorded statements from family members and eyewitnesses.

Sources said Khaja Moizuddin was handling several important waqf property-related cases, making the matter even more sensitive. Police are currently probing the case from all possible angles, including murder conspiracy and intentional attack.
