Several Injured as RTC Bus Overturns in Prakasam District; Driver Flees

Prakasam: Several passengers were injured after an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Pallevelugu bus overturned while attempting to avoid a head-on collision with another bus in Prakasam district on Saturday.
According to preliminary reports, the accident occurred near Dwaraka Seafoods on the Kamepalli–Ongole route. The bus reportedly lost balance and overturned while trying to evade an oncoming bus.
At the time of the accident, around 60 passengers were travelling in the bus, including 20 students who were on their way to school.
Local residents and emergency responders rushed to the spot and shifted the injured passengers to the Kondapi Government Hospital for treatment. The condition of the injured is yet to be officially disclosed.
