New Delhi: Bollywood’s famous actress of her time Shabana Azmi has opposed the demand to ban the film The Kerala Story.
In her tweet, she wrote, “Those who speak of banning The Kerala Story are as wrong as those who wanted to ban Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaadha. Once a film has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification nobody has the right to become an extra constitutional authority .”
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court on Tuesday agreed to hear, on May 15, a plea against the Kerala High Court’s refusal to stay the film “The Kerala Story” – the fourth time when the apex court would consider the plea related to the movie.
