T-Hub facility in Hyderabad to give a huge boost to Indian Startup ecosystem: Ratan Tata

Hyderabad: Ratan Tata on Tuesday congratulated to the Telangana government for the launching of T-Hub phase-2.

Taking on micro blogging platform Twitter, Ratan Tata while congratulating the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on its new T-Hub facility in Hyderabad, said this will give a big boost to the Indian startup ecosystem.

The 18 acre world’s largest innovation hubs, T-Hub 2.0 will be unveiled this evening by the Chief Minister.

T-Hub, in its new avatar called T-Hub phase-II, will be housed in an iconic 10-storeyed T-shaped building, spread over 3.75 lakh sq.ft that has been designed by a South Korean architectural firm to resemble a spaceship.

The new T-hub facility has been built at a cost Rs 400 crore with state government funds, according to Telangana Principal Secretary (IT) Jayesh Ranjan.

T-Hub phase-II, which is five times bigger than the first phase of T-Hub established in 2005, will have the capacity to house about 4,000 start-ups, Ranjan added.
