Hyderabad: The 5th IIPPL T-20 Cricket Championship, organized by Incredible India Project Pvt. Ltd., reached its pinnacle with an electrifying final held at the Green Hamsa Grounds in Aziznagar, Moinabad.
Ten teams participated in the championship, showcasing their cricketing prowess in a total of 23 matches, culminating in a nail-biting final that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
In the first semi-final, Team Eagle faced off against Team Marshal in a fierce battle. Team Marshal emerged victorious, securing their place in the final with a six-wicket win. The second semi-final witnessed Team Royal clashing with Team Avengers, and Team Royal emerged triumphant, sealing their spot in the championship decider with an eight-wicket victory.
The grand finale, played between Team Marshal and Team Royal, was a true spectacle of skill and determination. Team Marshal set a challenging target, posting a total of 129/8 in their allotted 20 overs. In response, Team Royal fought valiantly but fell short, managing to score 115/7. Team Marshal emerged victorious by 14 runs, clinching the championship trophy for the second time.
The Man of the Match title was bestowed upon Mr. Krishnakar from Team Marshal, who showcased an all-round performance by scoring 12 runs and taking 3 wickets for 9 runs in 4 overs. His crucial contributions played a pivotal role in Team Marshal’s success in the final.
Mr. Abdul Muneer of Team Royal was adjudicated as the Man of the Series for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament. Mr. Muneer scored an impressive 199 runs and also contributed with the ball by taking 4 wickets.
