Telangana CM lays foundation stone for three TIMS super-specialty hospitals
The three TIMS super-speciality hospitals will be be constructed at L B Nagar, Sanath Nagar and Alwal in the city at a cost of Rs 2,679 crore.
Hyderabad: Aimed to strengthen the health sector by constructing Super Specialty Hospitals in surroundings of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday laid foundation stone for three Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) super-speciality hospitals here.
The three TIMS super-speciality hospitals will be be constructed at L B Nagar, Sanath Nagar and Alwal in the city at a cost of Rs 2,679 crore.
The state government had already launched TIMS super-speciality hospital in Gachibowli area in the city.
Each super-speciality hospital will come up in 13.71 lakh square feet and would be constructed at a cost of Rs 900 crore Rs 882 crore and Rs 897 crore at LB Nagar, Sanath Nagar and Alwal.
Health Minister T Harish Rao, Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, MPs, MLAs and other representatives attended the programme.
