Telangana Players Excel at National Under-7 Chess Championship

The championship was held from September 21 to 26, with 243 players from 29 states participating in the Open Category and 123 players from 26 states participating in the Girls Category.

Kolkata: Four players from Telangana finished in the top 20 of the Open Category at the 36th National Under-7 Years Boys & Girls Chess Championship, which concluded in Kolkata on September 26.

A.Davith Reddy (TS) (1428) finished in sixth place with 7 points, followed by Saathvik Chakravarthy Ramayanam (TS) in 14th place with 7 points, D. Akshith (TS) (1035) in 16th place with 6.5 points, and T. Shreyan (TS) (1038) in 18th place with 6.5 points.

In the Girls Category, Vamshika Boga (TS) finished in 19th place with 6 points.
