The upcoming Dussehra festival is set for October 24, with the celebrations for Durga Ashtami and Batukamma scheduled for October 22. This prompts the Telangana government to grant holidays to schools, colleges, and offices each year.

This time, there will be a total of 12 days of holidays for Dussehra, encompassing Batukamma and Dussehra celebrations.

In 2022, there were 13 days of holidays, whereas in 2023, it’s reduced to 12 days. Dussehra holidays are slated from October 14 to 25 this year, and educational institutions will resume on October 26.
