Thunderstorm with lightning & gusty winds in Telangana from May 19-22 : Met

Hyderabad: Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds with speed of (40-50 kmph) is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet and Nagarkurnool of Telangana today, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.

In a daily weather report here, It said Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy and Mahabubnagar of the state during the same period.

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds with speed reaching (30-40 kmph) is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet of Telangana on May 20.

The report also said Thunderstorm with Lightning very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthi, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal of the state tomorrow.

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds with speed of (30-40 kmph) is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet of Telangana on May 21.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthi, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal of the state on Sunday.

Thunderstorm accompanied with Lightning and gusty winds with speed reaching (30-40 kmph) very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Khammam, Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthi of Telangana on May 22.

Thunderstorm with Lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal of the state on Monday.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana from May 19 to 23.

Hailstorm occurred at isolated places in Badradri Kothagudem district of the state on Thursday.

Maximum temperatures of 41 degrees celsius and above was recorded at most places in Telangana yesterday.

The highest maximum temperature of 44 degree celsius was recorded at Nalgonda, the report added.
