Thunderstorm with lightning & heavy rain very likely in Telangana : Met

In a daily weather report here, Met said Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds with speed of (30-40 Kmph) is very likely to occur at isolated places in remaining districts of the state during the same period.

Hyderabad: Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning, hailstorm, heavy rain and gusty winds with speed reaching (40-50 Kmph) is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jagtial, Khammam, Nalgonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Nagarkurnool and Kamareddy districts of Telangana in the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning, hailstorm, heavy rain and gusty winds with speed reaching (40-50 Kmph) is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy and Mahabubnagar districts of Telangana on Tuesday.


Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds with speed of (30-40 Kmph) is very likely to occur at isolated places in the remaining districts of the state tomorrow.


Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds with speed reaching (40-50 Kmph) is very likely to occur at isolated places in few districts of Telangana on May 3 and 4.


The report said Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely to occur at isolated places in few districts of the state on May 5.


Light to moderate Rain or Thundershowers very likely to occur at many places or at few places in Telangana from May 1 to 5.


Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Jangaon and heavy rainfall occurred at few places in Hanmakonda, Hyderabad and at isolated places in Jagtial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Karimnagar, Kamareddy, Khammam, Mancherial, Nagarkurnool, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Rangareddy, Rajanna Sircilla, Wanaparthy and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts of the state during the last 24 hours.


Hailstorm occurred at isolated places in Jagtial, Medak ,Rajanna Sircilla and Siddipet districts of Telangana during the same period.


Rain occurred at most places in the state, the report said, adding Palakurthi in Jangaon district recorded the highest rainfall of 13 CM and 12 CM in Devaruppal of Jangaon district.
