In a bulletin here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period and in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places or at one or two places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin said.
The Southwest monsoon has been normal in Telangana and weak in Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours. Rain occurred at few places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, at one or two places in Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed in Yanam (Puducherry) during the same period, the bulletin added.
Meanwhile, in a special bulletin, Met said, the trough in easterlies runs from the cyclonic circulation over Southwest Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood to south Kerala and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.
