Two killed, one injured as container dashes lorry in Telangana
The driver of the lorry was changing the tyre of the vehicle which got punctured. Both the vehicle drivers hailing from Nagaland and Haryana were killed on the spot.
Nizamabad: Two people were killed when a container dashed against a stationary lorry on National Highway No 44 near Kishan Nagar, Balkonda Mondal in this district on Monday morning. The accident occurred when the container was proceeding to Nagaland from Hyderabad, police said. At the time of the accident, the driver of the lorry was changing the tyre of the vehicle which got punctured. Both the vehicle drivers hailing from Nagaland and Haryana were killed on the spot. After receiving information, police rushed to the spot and diverted the traffic and sent the bodies to Balkonda Government hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, the police added.
