2 students of IIS from old city of Hyderabad die in car accident in Saudi Arabia; 1 critical
Hyderabad: Two students hailing from old city of Hyderabad were tragically killed in a horrendous car accident in Saudi Arabia. Another one is battling for life in the hospital.
All three students were studying in the Indian International School in Dammam and came from the old city of Hyderabad.
The accident occurred in Dammam when the car, driven by the students, collided with a tree by the roadside. Hassan Riyaz, an 11th-grade student, and Ibrahim Azher, a 9th-grade student, died on the spot.
Ibrahim’s brother, Ammar, who is in the 8th grade, sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently in critical condition.
Both Hassan Riyaz and Ibrahim Azher were Hafiz-e-Quran, (memorizer of the Qur’an).
The three students were neighbors and resided in the same area in Dammam. Ibrahim had plans to travel to Hyderabad on Thursday, as his family intended to go on a vacation during the upcoming Eid holidays.
Ibrahim Azher and Ammar are siblings, and their father, Muhammad Azher, is from Hussaini Alam in Hyderabad. Hassan Riyaz was the son of Muhammad Yusuf Riyaz, a resident of Moti Gali in Charminar, Hyderabad.
