The event, scheduled from December 4th to 10th, 2023, is organized by the Telangana Chess Association.

In a notable inauguration, Smt. Priya Agarwal, Chess Secretary of the South-Central Railway Sports Association, led the proceedings. She was joined by esteemed personalities, including Dr. Sanjay Kapoor, President of the All-India Chess Federation (AICF); Smt. J.J. Shobha, Sports Officer at SCRSA and Double Olympian; Sri. Naresh Sharma, Treasurer of AICF; Sri. Niranjan Godbole, Secretary of the Maharashtra Chess Association, and Sri. K.S. Prasad, President of the Telangana State Chess Association.
