4.5 Lakh Students to Appear for Intermediate First Year Exams in 1,768 Centers

The exam which is scheduled on Oct 30 has been rescheduled to October 31 (Sunday)

Hyderabad:  The Secretary and Commissioner of Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, Syed Omer Jaleel has informed that 4,59,228 students will appear for the first year Intermediate Examinations 2021 in 1,768 centers in the State, the Examination is scheduled to be held from October 25 to November 3. 

However, one change has been made in the schedule of examination because of Huzurabad By Election, the exam which is scheduled to be held on Oct 30 has been changed to October 31 (Sunday).  The message of change will be informed to the students separately. 

Speaking to press persons, here today, Syed Omer Jaleel said that the number of boys appearing in general  is 2,05,360 and in Vocational 27,252, Girls are 2,04,537 in General and 22,079 in Vocational.  Total number of Invigilators deputed are 25,258 and flying squads 70.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES TO FOLLOW PROTOCOL OF COVID

Every candidate must follow the pandemic Covid protocols in the examination hall as given by the Medical and Health department,   it is mandatory to wear a mask in the examination hall.  Candidates should bring their own small 50 ml Sanitizer bottle, bring their own transparent drinking water bottle, follow social distancing strictly, candidates are advised not borrow or exchange any type of material in the examination hall from other candidates, they should bring their own pen, pencil, eraser etc. advised to maintain good hygienic conditions in Examination Hall.  If any student is suffering from any type of cold or fever or sneezing or elevated body temperature, an isolation room (2 rooms) has been arranged where they can write the exam. 

Candidates should present in the examination hall one hour before the commencement of examination at 8. am.  The candidates have to fill their bio-data on the OMR between 8.45 to 9.00 am.  Candidates reporting after 9.00 am will not be allowed into the examination hall Question paper will be provided to the student at 9.00 am.

The Hall tickets are placed in the TSBIE website tsbie.cgg.gov.in and students can download the hall tickets from the website.  Chief Superintendents are instructed to all the candidates with the downloaded hall tickets in the examination without principal signature.  The Principals/Managements are informed not to stop the issuing of Hall Tickets to students for any reason.  If such cases are reported, action will be initiated by the Board against the College management. 

Candidates should verify the stitched answer book containing 24 papers.  Candidates are not allowed to bring any kind of printed/written material, cell phones, papers, calculators or any other Electronic Gadgets into the examination hall.  Criminal cases will be registered against the candidates resorting to copying/malpractice/impersonation etc and they will be debarred from the examinations. 

ASSISTANCE OF CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGISTS

The Board of Intermediate Education has taken the assistance of Clinical Psychologists to Intermediate Students, facing problems of stress, exam fear and related issues and if necessary they can contact Dr. Anita Are Cell No, 9154951704, Mazher Ali 9154951977, Rajini Tenali 9154951695, P.Jawaharlal Nehru 9154951699, S.Sreelatha 9154951703, Silaja Pisapati  9154951706 and Anupama GuttimDeevi 9154951687.  These consultants will be available to the students on Telephone number.  Students having problems in controlling stress and related issues can avail their services by phoning them.  The services are free for the Intermediate students.

TSRTC authorities make transport arrangements during the examinations, electricity department to provide power without interruption, Medical aid to the students at the examination centres, and drinking water facilities.  CC cameras were installed in each Examination centre.  Exam centres nearby the examination centres will be closed during the examination schedule from 9 am to 12 noon. 

STUDY MATERIAL CAN BE DOWNLOADED

Syed Omer Jaleel has informed that the study material for all the groups has been put on the official website of the Intermediate Board, the students can download the material and prepare themselves.
