BRS Leader Attacked During Drainage Issue Inspection
According to details, BRS leader Anand Kumar Goud visited the Begum Bazar fish market area after local residents complained about a severe sewage and drainage problem. While he was inspecting the issue, he was allegedly abused and attacked by BJP leaders.
The attack is said to have been carried out by Raja Singh’s personal assistant Krishna, along with Shankar Yadav, who is also the GHMC BJP Floor Leader.
Argument Turns Violent
Eyewitnesses stated that BJP leaders objected to Anand Kumar Goud’s presence, allegedly questioning why he had entered their division. The argument soon escalated, leading to a physical assault.
During the attack, Anand Kumar Goud sustained an injury below his eye, prompting immediate concern among locals present at the spot.
Complaint Lodged at Goshamahal Police Station
Following the incident, Anand Kumar Goud approached Goshamahal Police Station and lodged a formal complaint against Shankar Yadav and Krishna, accusing them of assault and abusive behavior.
Police officials have confirmed that the complaint has been received and that the matter is under review. Further action is expected after preliminary inquiry.
