Digital Draw Conducted in Presence of Senior Officials
The Qurrah (draw of lots) for allotment of Nizam Rubath accommodation was conducted digitally using specialised software by members of the Awqaf Committee H.E.H. The Nizam.
The draw was carried out by:
- Nawab M. A. Faiz Khan, Member, Awqaf Committee H.E.H. The Nizam
- Faheem Qureshi, President, Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society
- Syed Ghulam Afzal Biabani Khusro Pasha, Chairman, Telangana State Haj Committee
- Hussain Mohammed Mudar Al Shareef, Nazir, Hyderabad Nizam Rubath
- Syed Akbar Nizamuddin, Member, Telangana Waqf Board
Several other dignitaries and officials were also present during the proceedings.
What Is Nizam Rubath
The Nizam Rubath in Makkah Al-Mukarramah is a historic charitable endowment established by the Nizams of Hyderabad to provide safe, comfortable, and free lodging to pilgrims from the erstwhile Hyderabad State during Hajj.
The Rubath continues to serve pilgrims through coordinated efforts with the Haj Committee of India and has remained a symbol of welfare and philanthropy from the Nizam era.
