Hyderabad: The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board on Tuesday released the provisional merit list for recruitment to 433 Assistant Professor posts in government medical colleges across Telangana. The board has invited candidates for certificate verification in a 1:3 ratio at the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare in Vengal Rao Nagar, Hyderabad, on May 22 and 23. Officials stated that candidates who fail to attend on those dates can submit their certificates on May 25.

Provisional Merit List Released for 433 Assistant Professor Posts
The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board released the provisional merit list for filling 433 Assistant Professor posts in government medical colleges.
The board invited candidates for certificate verification in a ratio of 1:3 for each post.
According to the notification, certificate verification will take place on:
- May 22
- May 23
at the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare, located in Vengal Rao Nagar, Hyderabad.
Candidates Asked to Attend With All Certificates
The board instructed candidates to attend the verification process with all required documents, including:
- Educational qualification certificates
- Community certificates
- Other relevant certificates
Officials clarified that candidates unable to attend verification on May 22 and 23 can appear on May 25 and submit their certificates.
Recruitment Notification Issued for 607 Posts in 34 Departments
Last year, the Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board issued a recruitment notification for filling 607 Assistant Professor posts in 34 departments in government medical colleges.
The board stated that the recruitment process for 174 posts in the following departments has already been completed:
- Pediatrics
- Orthopedics
- Gynecology
- Anesthesia
Appointment Letters Already Distributed
The doctors selected for the above posts were recently handed appointment letters by Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha.
Officials stated that the provisional merit list released on Tuesday pertains to the remaining 433 posts in 30 departments.
Final Selection List to Be Released After Verification
The board said that after completion of certificate verification, the final list of selected doctors for Assistant Professor jobs in government medical colleges will be released.
