Viryah Giri Sahiv from Telangana emerged as the state topper by securing an outstanding 99.99915 percentile and achieved the All India Rank (AIR) 13.
Several other students from the state also secured remarkable positions in the national rankings. Bora Sai Sharan secured AIR 19, Kondagatla Hanish achieved AIR 21, Andem Sai Charan Reddy secured AIR 38, Mayuk J. Simha obtained AIR 42, Kompella Sai Gayathri Tejo Arunima achieved AIR 83, Ritambika Mohanty secured AIR 91, and Devish Sri Gopal Agrawal earned AIR 123.
At the national level, Aryan Gupta from Punjab secured the first rank with an impressive 99.9999 percentile, while Pinshul Bansal from Haryana and Uplakshya Goyal from Rajasthan secured the second and third ranks respectively.

According to the NTA, nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for the examination this year, out of which more than 11.21 lakh students qualified. Female candidates accounted for over 58 percent of the successful candidates, with their success rate surpassing that of male candidates.
The examination witnessed exceptional performances, with 138 students scoring above 690 marks, while 19 candidates crossed the 700-mark milestone.
The NTA also noted that most of the top-performing candidates were between 17 and 19 years of age, and nearly 93 percent of the candidates were appearing for the NEET examination for the first time.
The agency advised students and parents to rely only on official websites for admission-related information and to remain cautious of fake phone calls, messages, or fraudulent claims regarding admissions. Counselling for the All India Quotas will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), while counselling for state quota seats will be managed by the respective state governments.
