Iranian Consul General Visits Telangana State Archives, Appreciates Efforts to Preserve India-Iran Common Cultural Heritage

Hyderabad: H.E. Hamid Ahmadiye, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, visited the Telangana State Archives and Research Institute on July 2, 2026, and held a meeting with Dr. Zareena Parveen, Director of the Telangana State Archives and Research Institute.

During the visit, the Consul General reviewed the work being undertaken by the Noor International Microfilm Center in the preservation, conservation and digitisation of valuable historical manuscripts and archival materials reflecting the shared cultural heritage of India and Iran.

H.E. Hamid Ahmadiye appreciated the efforts of the Telangana State Archives and Research Institute and the Noor International Microfilm Center, expressing his gratitude to the authorities and the organisation for their contribution towards preserving the common cultural and intellectual heritage of the two countries.
