The flight, AI2379, reportedly encountered severe turbulence on August 4, causing the aircraft to suddenly lose around 300 feet of altitude. The turbulence lasted for approximately four to five minutes, during which 17 people, including members of the cabin crew, were reportedly injured.
According to the report, the flight captain underwent a post-flight dope test, which allegedly detected traces of psychoactive substances. However, Air India said it has not yet received the test results.
