Akbar Owaisi Demands Enquiry on Encroachment Of Wakf Land

Raising the issue of encroachment of Wakf lands during Zero Hour, the MIM floor leader Akbaruddin owaisi has demanded the enquiry on the encroachment of Wakf land by the, CBCID or CBI or by the sitting Judge of the High Court, he said that since decades, his party is raising is the issue of encroachment of Wakf land but no government is taking including the present TRS government is not taking seriously, he allied that 50 per cent encroachment is from the Government Institutions and the most of the lands by the big companies including the Hyderabad International airport and many IT companies.
Akbar Owaisi said according to the survey conducted 33,929 are Wakf Institution having 77,538 acres of land in this 74 per cent coming 57,424 acres has been encroached, in this 99 per cent of the Wakf land has been encroached in medak district alone. He said if these lands are protected, there is no need for the government to provide any benefits such as pensions, etc to the Muslims. With the income of these Wakf lands, all the benefits can be provided to the muslims, he said.
