Bumrah returns home to welcome newborn baby boy
The 29-year-old had left the Indian camp in Sri Lanka on Sunday to be with his wife in Mumbai, Sanjana Ganesan for the birth of their child, henceforth missing out on India’s game against Nepal on Monday.
Mumbai: India pacer Jasprit Bumrah took to his social media on Monday to share the news of the birth of his son.
“Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it – Jasprit and Sanjana,” Bumrah wrote as a caption alongside an image.

He will be joining the team ahead of the Super 4 stage. The Indian team will play their Super 4 game after a few days’ break in Lanka and Bumrah has informed BCCI that he will be returning at the earliest.
