Debate Competition on Maulana Azad at MANUU

The final round for Hindi and Urdu languages is scheduled to be held on 9th November 2021 on the topic “Technology has a damaging impact on the cultural ethos of a society”.

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University will be conducting online debate competition as part of Azad Day Celebrations 2021. The preliminary round of the competition was held yesterday on the topic “Social Media is a positive tool for online learning” in three languages – Urdu, Hindi and English.

The final round for Hindi and Urdu languages is scheduled to be held on 9th November 2021 on the topic “Technology has a damaging impact on the cultural ethos of a society”.

According to Prof. Mohammed Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Coordinator Competition thirty one students participated in the preliminary round. University faculty – Dr. Md Akbar and Mr. Gufran Barkati, were the judges for Urdu language, whereas Dr. B.L. Meena and Mr. Faheem Anwar judged Hindi language debate and Dr. Govindaiah G. and Dr. P. Sarath Chandra were the judges for English.

Three prizes will be awarded to the top performers in each language and e-certificates will be given to all the participants.
