“Ek Shaam Charminar Ke Naam” will commence From Oct 17

It may be recalled that Arvind Kumar had last week tweeted that MA&UD Minister, K. Tarak Rama Rao and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi had suggested that the Sunday Funday concept at Tank Bund be replicated at Charminar too.

Hyderabad: It is final, the immensely popular “Sunday Funday” at Tank Bund will have different version at the Historic Charminar from this Sunday (October 17), Special Chief Secretary to Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Arvind Kumar in his tweet with the phrase “Ek Shaam Charminar Ke Naam” revealed about this.

He said the efforts were to make it a pleasant experience for all. He tweeted.

It may be recalled that Arvind Kumar had last week tweeted that MA&UD Minister, K. Tarak Rama Rao and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi had suggested that the Sunday Funday concept at Tank Bund be replicated at Charminar too. In this connection the official team of MA&UD, GHMC and Hyderabad police inspected, the concept has been finalized and will be launched on October 17. 

Inspected Historic Charminar to Make Arrangements for “Sunday Funday”

A team of the officials from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and the Hyderabad City Police inspected the premises of the Historic Charminar in view of the “Sunday Funday” programme being planned.

The programme is being planned on the lines of the Funday being organized at Tank Bund. 

Special Chief Secretary to MA&UD Arvind Kumar,  City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi participated in the inspection along with other officials. Different aspects including venues for organizing cultural events, parking arrangements and related activities were discussed.

The programme will start from Sunday and a joint inspection was done at Charminar to make necessary arrangements for its smooth conduct.
