Eshwarappa receives threat letter
"Some cowards have sent an anonymous threat letter that I have called Tipu Sultan a Muslim goonda and warned me that they will cut off my tongue," he said.
Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Minister and BJP leader K S Eshwarappa has registered a police complaint after getting a threatening letter warning that his tongue will be cut off if he continues to call Tipu Sultan a Muslim goon.
Eshwarappa received the letter at his residence on Wednesday.
“Some cowards have sent an anonymous threat letter that I have called Tipu Sultan a Muslim goonda and warned me that they will cut off my tongue,” he said.
Eshwarappa said he has never been scared of these such threats and expressed confidence that action would be taken against the culprit.
“I am confident that law enforcing authorities will take strict action against him,” Eshwarappa told reporters on Thursday.
