Fairy’s Flower School, Malakpet, organised a Gratitude & Appreciation programme on Tuesday to honour GHMC sanitation workers for their dedicated service in keeping the city clean and healthy.
The event was attended by GHMC officials as chief guests, including Deputy Commissioner Inkeshaf Ali, AMOH Srinivas Rudra and Sanitary Supervisor Vasuprasad, along with 16 sanitation workers and four Zonal Field Assistants representing Old Malakpet, Akbarbagh and Moosarambagh divisions.
Students welcomed the guests with thank-you speeches and a themed skit highlighting the dignity of labour and the vital role of sanitation workers. Appreciation gifts were presented to the workers as a mark of respect.

Speaking on the occasion, the officials lauded the school management for organising a meaningful programme that promotes civic responsibility and respect for essential workers among students. The event concluded with a call for collective responsibility towards cleanliness and dignity of labour.
