Government Notifies Transfer of 15 High Court Judges

Justice Jaswant Singh was transferred from Punjab and Haryana High Court to Orissa, Justice Sabina was transferred from Rajasthan to Himachal Pradesh, and Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra was sent from Orissa to Uttarakhand.

New Delhi: Union Government on Tuesday notified transfers of 15 High Court judges of 11 High Courts, the Law Ministry announced.

“Vide notifications of even number dated 05.10.2021, in exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer the following High Court Judges and to direct them to assume charge of their offices in High Courts where they have been transferred to,” a statement said.

Justice Jaswant Singh was transferred from Punjab and Haryana High Court to Orissa, Justice Sabina was transferred from Rajasthan to Himachal Pradesh, and Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra was sent from Orissa to Uttarakhand.

Other transfers are as follow:

Jutice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava – from Chhattisgarh to Rajasthan.

Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah – from Patna to Andhra Pradesh.

Justice Ujjal Bhuyan – from Bombay to Telangana.

Justice Paresh R. Upadhyay – from Gujarat to Madras.

Justice M.S.S.Ramachandra Rao – from Telangana to Punjab and Haryana.

Justice Arindam Sinha – from Calcutta to Orissa.

Justice A.M.Badar – from Kerala to Patna.

Justice Yashwant Varma – from Allahabad to Delhi.

Justice Vivek Agarwal – from Allahabad to Madhya Pradesh.

Justice Chandra Dhari Singh – from Allahabad to Delhi.

Justice Anoop Chitkara – from Himachal Pradesh to Punjab and Haryana.

Justice Ravi Nath Tilhari – from Allahabad to Andhra Pradesh.
