Hyderabad: On Thursday, a gathering of women in Saidabad at the Eidgah Ujale Shah organized a congregational prayer, expressing solidarity with Palestine and condemning the use of force against Gaza’s civilians. They prayed for an end to the oppression faced by Palestinians, while women and children displayed Palestine flags and held banners proclaiming, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”
Additionally, prayers showing support for Palestine and advocating for an end to the violence are set to take place on Friday at various locations, including the Jama Masjid Darul Shifa. Maulana Husamuddin Sami Jafar Pasha, a vocal critic of Israel, is expected to lead these prayers. He urged the public to pray at mosques and in their homes for the people and martyrs of Gaza. Maulana Jafar Pasha emphasized in a media statement how the people of Gaza are suffering from a lack of basic necessities like food, medicine, and water.
