The Ministry of Hajj has instructed pilgrims to refrain from taking photographs or selfies at Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi.

Makkah Mukarramah: The Ministry of Hajj has instructed pilgrims to refrain from taking photographs or selfies at Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi.

In a statement issued by the Saudi Arabian Ministry, it has been emphasized that pilgrims should avoid taking pictures or selfies at Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi and should observe the etiquettes of the holy sites.

The directive states that taking pictures or selfies can cause inconvenience and discomfort to other pilgrims, therefore, pilgrims are advised to refrain from photography or selfies upon entry into Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi, as well as avoid crowding on pathways designated for arrivals and departures.

The Ministry of Hajj also advises pilgrims to consider the privacy of others during Tawaf and prayers. It is better to spend more time in worship collectively instead of wasting valuable time on photography or selfies.
