KCR Announces Sop for Auto-rickshaw Drivers if BRS Comes to Power Again

Hyderabad: On Monday, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao expressed confidence in BRS winning the upcoming polls by a significant margin. He cited three conducted surveys in the state, all indicating BRS’s likely victory.

During a public meeting in Manakondur, KCR delivered positive news for auto-rickshaw drivers, criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi for raising diesel charges. He pledged to eliminate fees for auto-rickshaw fitness certificates if BRS secures power in the next election.

KCR assured that homelessness would be addressed in Telangana, promising new housing construction over the next five years. He outlined plans to allocate land or funds for those without property.

Criticizing Indira Gandhi’s rule, KCR highlighted historical challenges, including government dissolutions and people migrating for livelihood during the Indiramma Rajyam.

Reflecting on Telangana’s challenging start in 2014, KCR credited the state’s progress to collaborative efforts with senior IAS officer GR Reddy and others. He emphasized Telangana’s current top-ranking position.

The BRS president concluded by announcing the implementation of Dalit Bandhu in Manakondur, similar to its launch in the Huzurabad constituency. He promised Dalit families in Manakondur would receive Dalit Bandhu if Rasamayi Balakishan triumphs in the upcoming polls.
