Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that the pension of disabled persons will be increased by Rs. 1000. He said that he will pay Rs 4,116 as pension for the disabled from next month. At present, Rs 3,116 pension is being paid to disabled people every month.
He said that the plans for the welfare of the people that were prepared during the Telangana movement are being fulfilled one by one.
Addressing the public meeting held in Mancherial, he said that the people of Mancherial district held many sit-ins in the past for a separate district, on which his government established 23 new districts along with Mancherial.
