Lady pilgrim dies in Mina during Hajj pilgrimage while stoning the devil


A lady Hajj pilgrim, a resident of Sangareddy in Telangana, passed away in Mina on Wednesday during the Hajj pilgrimage. The deceased was the mother of Mir Majid Ali, the owner of the renowned Zam Zam Dhaba located in Sangareddy, along the Hyderabad-Mumbai highway.

Fatima Sarwar, a woman pilgrim from Telangana, fell ill and  lost her life while performing the ritual of stoning the devil in Mina. She had undertaken the Hajj journey accompanied by her son, Mir Majid Ali Azam. The family was returning to their residence when the unfortunate incident occurred.

To ensure the timely burial of the deceased, Muazzam Ali Iftikhar, an NRI activist from Telangana, is collaborating with the Indian Hajj Mission to complete the necessary formalities.
